Former Doctor Accused of Assault Charges Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have announced that a former doctor now faces charges for carrying out sexual assaults involving 38 victims who were patients.
Details of the Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of sexual offences – some of which involve acts against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021.
A senior prosecutor stated, “Legal teams have diligently worked to support a detailed and complex police inquiry, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what investigators described as a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
The defendant is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

- Fifteen counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
