The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Car Crash
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The celebrated game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in LA on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
