The Streaming Giant Selects Ideal Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the major clash won’t unfold until season 3, and a cherished, popular member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bentham. The role possesses the power to transform into an exact copy of anyone they’ve touched with their right hand. Escola, who is gender non-conforming and uses they/them pronouns, will play a version of that figure re-envisioned as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag queen, in the live-action show, differing from the source material and anime.
This performer is joined by several other fresh additions tasked with bringing the organization to the screen, featuring leader the main antagonist, portrayed by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and an accomplished actor, who will appear as the lineup as King Nefertari Cobra of Alabasta.
Though this character is a key figure of Baroque Works, the character won’t appear until One Piece the third season. Given season 2 set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this signals a significant shift in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest additional alterations to the story’s structure.
Their mix of excellent comedic sense and profound feeling makes them a perfect fit for the character. In addition to their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s widely praised figures.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is due to premiere for its next installment on March 10, 2026.
