With many of the Super Forms boasting unique appearances that emphasize their personalities, one thought naturally: What's the best way to link this with astrology? The following is based on a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is clearly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the emoji a Maiden posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic being, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them worry more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. As a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently think they’re right. The thing is, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are.
